NAEMSP®'s membership year runs from January 1 ‐ December 31. New members may pay the prorated amount below in their first year. Renewal notices for the following year are mailed each November and due by December 31.
Medical Student Member
Members joining in October, November or December may opt to pay the prorated amount listed above as well as the full yearly rate. By doing so you will avoid receiving a renewal invoice right away and be paid through the following year.
Submission and acceptance of an NAEMSP® membership application authorizes the NAEMSP® Executive Office the right and privilege to email you as a member. NAEMSP® does not sell or distribute in any other manner its member email address list.
NAEMSP® dues are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities. NAEMSP® estimates the nondeductible portion of your membership dues, the portion which is allocable to lobbying, as 42%.]
Physicians who are engaged in the planning, supervision, teaching or clinical practice of out-of- hospital emergency medical care.
Non-physicians who have demonstrated an interest in out-of-hospital emergency medical care and the aims of the Association. (Nurse, EMT, EMT-P etc.)
EMS Physicians outside of North America. Members in this category do not receive NAEMSP News and Prehospital Emergency Care Journal via the mail. These publications are only available on-line to international members.
Fellow interested in EMS (must provide expected graduation date as well as a verification letter from your fellowship director.)

This indexed, peer-reviewed quarterly publication, published by Informa (formerly Taylor & Francis), is the official journal of the National Association of EMS Physicians®, the National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO), the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) and the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT). This current and informative journal provides a scientific venue for all NAEMSP® members and is included with your membership fee. The mission of the journal is to foster and disseminate EMS literature of the highest quality. The Editorial Board is comprised of nationally renowned EMS physicians and professionals. The journal features original research.
The official newsletter of NAEMSP®, this bimonthly electronic newsletter strives to update the membership with articles from the EMS community. Members are encouraged to participate in NAEMSP® news by writing articles, offering suggestions and encouraging participation that will enhance meaningful and informative communication within the association and the EMS field.
