As with any printed report, the guidelines around which this document was created are updated from time to time. NAEMSP and its Committee on Pediatrics are in the process of revising the 2003 edition of the Model Pediatric Protocols to reflect the most recent advances in pediatric resuscitation and care. This work is in progress. While this is occurring, we feel that is important to keep the document available to the public with this disclaimer.
