We will now address the medical care aspects in the prehospital, hospital and public health settings. The 5 components will include triage, treatment, transportation, personnel and equipment and communications.
A terrorist event medical response requires the coordination, communication and shared information of multiple agencies at the local, state, regional, tribal and federal levels.
