NAEMSP/Stryker Early Career Award – Applications Open!
Application Submission is now OPEN
Application Deadline: November 13, 2026 – 5 pm CT – NO EXCEPTIONS
NAEMSP has teamed up with Stryker to create a 24-month, $60,000-$80,000 funding opportunity.
The purpose of this award is to foster the early career development of an EMS physician who demonstrates aptitude, talent, and potential as a future EMS leader. This award will provide support for a supervised career development experience in Emergency Medical Services to support the transition from EMS fellow to independent EMS physician at an academic institution and/or health system with involvement in a ground or air medical EMS system.

The NAEMSP Awards are presented annually at the NAEMSP Annual Meeting in January. Review the criteria today and submit a nomination before the November 16 deadline.
